Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk and the Village of Mastic Beach

Habitat Suffolk has ambitious plans to continue to add more homeowners to the Habitat family by increasing our home construction rate with the support of Suffolk County, and the various townships and villages where our projects are located.  We currently have properties under development throughout Suffolk County from Wyandanch to Orient!

Recently, Habitat Suffolk raised the walls of the first two of four new Habitat Suffolk homes in the incorporated Village of Mastic Beach.  Our partnership with Mastic Beach was recently enhanced when the Village Board selected Habitat Suffolk to be their affordable home partner.  There are many abandoned and boarded-up properties throughout the Village, and our goal is to continue working together to identify properties to be re-developed and then turn them into new (or renovated) affordable home-ownership opportunities.

In order to continue to help more families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing, we continue to reach out to individuals, corporations, foundations, congregations, and organizations to partner with us.  Your financial and volunteer support is what enables us to build our Habitat Suffolk homes.  It currently costs Habitat Suffolk over $120,000 to build our homes.  Thanks to your support and our dedicated volunteer board leadership and professional staff, Habitat Suffolk continues to be an important part of the solution to the affordable housing crisis in Suffolk County on Long Island.
