Refreshment volunteers can bring and serve sandwiches, salads, soup and hot/ cold drinks and meals. These services can be provided year round. Housewarming for House Dedications
This is a very special day for each Habitat Homeowner. The dedication celebrates the completion of their house. Volunteers are welcome to provide refreshments for the Dedication Ceremony. Volunteers often put together gift baskets, which they present to the family during the ceremony, and help the family settle comfortably into a brand new home.  For example gifts may include Laundry Basket or Large kitchen garbage pail, Windex, Lysol, garbage bags, foil, Ziplocks, detergent, sponges, kitchen towels, pot holders, mop or swiffer, Large Wicker Basket or Hamper, wash cloths, towels , bath soap, shampoo, soap dish, toothbrushes toothbrush holder, air freshener bandages, antiseptic.  If you would like to present a gift to a family at their dedication, please contact volunteer@habitatsuffolk.org.

Shower the Family on thier Dedication
Fill the pantry with non-perishable food items to start the family off right as they receive the keys to their new home. Or fill a laundry basket, hamper or garbage pail with household cleaning supplies, kitchen needs, first aid needs or lawn care needs.
