Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk’s 5th Annual Awards & Recognition Luncheon will be held at the Watermill in Smithtown on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 11:30 a.m celebrating Habitat Suffolk’s 20th Anniversary – “Building Homes and Hope.” At this special event, Habitat Suffolk will be celebrating the achievement of building over 120 homes in Suffolk County since 1988 – while planning for the next 20 years. At the same time, Habitat will be presenting Ken Batchelor, Habitat Suffolk’s Founding President with a special President’s Award & also present Habitat’s Corporation of the Year Award to CA, Inc. Home Builders Blitz Build 2008 |

Habitat Suffolk thanks the LI Home Builders Care,
Inc., JCV Development, AvalonBay, Ornstein Leyton Co., Pulte Homes and
Bank of America for their support and participation in the 2008 Habitat
Home Builders Blitz - Two homes in Five Days! This local project
was part of a national partnership between local builders and Habitat
affiliates in 110 communities across the United States - creating over
265 new affordable homeownership opportunities for families like the
Rodas' and Kwaak's!

HABITAT SUFFOLK WOMEN BUILD |

On Friday, May 2 we raised the walls of our 2008
Women Build home. To cover the cost of building materials and
supervision, we are asking each volunteer to set a personal goal
of raising at least $100 towards this Women Build project. Below
are the links to some fundraising tools for your use along with the
registration form for this project. Please fill out the form and
return it to Annie McMillan.
All volunteers must be at
least 16 years of age and youth of 16 or 17 years must be accompanied by
